Having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us which was hostile to us,
He also has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

And the veil of the sanctuary was torn in two
from top to bottom.
What Thou, my Lord, hast suffered,
was all for sinners’ gain;
Mine, mine was the transgression,
but Thine the deadly pain.
Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread,
which is called the Passover, was drawing near.
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
“The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ!”
