Journey to Bethlehem
Christ Jesus, who,
although existing in the form of God,
did not regard equality with God
a thing to be grasped,
but emptied Himself,
by taking the form of a slave,
by being made in the likeness of men.
Truth For The Heart
Christ Jesus, who,
although existing in the form of God,
did not regard equality with God
a thing to be grasped,
but emptied Himself,
by taking the form of a slave,
by being made in the likeness of men.
“…a bruised reed he will not break,
and a dimly burning wick
he will not quench…”
Rejoice in the Lord always;
again I will say, rejoice!
“For behold, I bring you
good news of great joy
which will be for all the people!”
And the shepherds returned,
glorifying and praising God
for all the things that they had heard and seen,
as it was told unto them.
“For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish,
but have eternal life.”
…behold, an angel of the Lord
appeared to him in a dream, saying,
“Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid
to take Mary as your wife.”
For you know the grace
of our Lord Jesus Christ,
that though He was rich,
yet for your sake He became poor,
so that you through His poverty
might become rich.
“…the blind receive sight, the lame walk,
the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear,
the dead are raised up,
the poor have the gospel preached to them.”
