With my voice to Yahweh I shout out:
with my voice to Yahweh
I appeal for grace.
Thus says Yahweh,
“By this you shall know that I am Yahweh:
behold, I am about to strike the water that is in the Nile with the staff that is in my hand, and it will be turned to blood.”
Having canceled out the certificate of debt
consisting of decrees against us which was hostile to us,
He also has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
What Thou, my Lord, hast suffered,
was all for sinners’ gain;
Mine, mine was the transgression,
but Thine the deadly pain.
So he then delivered Him
over to them to be crucified.
“Do not trust in lying words, saying,
‘This is the temple of Yahweh,
the temple of Yahweh,
the temple of Yahweh.’”
After singing a hymn,
they went out to the Mount of Olives.
