Mercy & Grace

I’m finishing up my next post in my Read the Bible series, and there are some things in it that I need to think through. I hope to get it published on Tuesday.

Take time this weekend to think over what you’ve been learning about God from His Word. Thank Him for who He is. Bring your sins, concerns, and trials to Him.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 4:14–16

We have Jesus. He is our great high priest. Hold fast your confession in the midst of any discouragement or sorrow. Whatever your weaknesses, draw near Him with confidence so you may receive mercy and find grace to help right now in your time of need.
