Jeremiah 22–26: Good Figs & Bad Figs
Then the Lord said to me,
“What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said,
“Figs, the good figs, very good; and the bad figs,
very bad, which cannot be eaten due to rottenness.”
Truth For The Heart
Then the Lord said to me,
“What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said,
“Figs, the good figs, very good; and the bad figs,
very bad, which cannot be eaten due to rottenness.”
You are our letter, having been written in our hearts, known and read by all men.

“For My people have done two evils:
They have forsaken Me,
The fountain of living waters,
To hew for themselves cisterns,
Broken cisterns
That can hold no water.”
It is from Yahweh
that a person’s steps are established,
and He delights in his way.
“Because you have rejected
the word of Yahweh,
He has also rejected you from being king.”
Blessed be Yahweh,
For He has made marvelous His lovingkindness to me in a besieged city.
